民進黨總統參選人蔡英文日前透露，可望參加今年國慶大典。親民黨副祕書長劉文雄今(18)日透露，親民黨總統參選人宋楚瑜本周已經定調將參加今年國慶，，且組成30人大型參訪團。
劉轉述宋說法表示，國慶是件大事，「當然要出席」，且組成30人大型參訪團。
劉文雄指出，他們每天都在討論行程，本周確定出席，而且國慶是件大事，當然要出席，且將組成30人的大型參訪團。他還開玩笑地說，先為之後執政做準備。
